FLORATECH EMPHASIZES "GREEN"

Also, Floratech's patented boundary layer airflow design does not require a top on the cooler to keep the air circulating properly and ensure efficient cooling (at low velocity over the tops of the blooms and returned under the vases to keep water cold and flowers fresher longer).  Floratech’s Always Open® coolers can use ambient store lighting to illuminate the merchandised display; they do not need to rely on fluorescent bulbs, which are ecologically questionable in terms of energy draw and landfill waste.

In addition, Floratech is involved in RoHs and WEE compliance and our factory is actively engaged in lean manufacturing principles that contribute to sustainability being practiced throughout the company’s supplier chain. 

Floratech, which has been designing refrigerated floral coolers for leading supermarkets in the US and Canada for the past 21 years, has  expanded international sales to a number of grocery chains, retail outlets, garden centers and florist venues from Portugal to Russia to South America.
